This exhibit tells the fascinating story of Willis O'Brien, the Oakland native who created, nurtured, and advanced the art of stop-motion 3D model animation. His creative genius brought The Lost World (1925), King Kong (1933), and Mighty Joe Young (1949) to the movie screen.
