Has your heart ever been broken? Sadly, so have ours.

Once a year, in February, we collect the objects of your broken hearts and put them on display at the Main Library. What an opportunity for you to purge yourself of these painful memories! 

Visit this year's shrine at the Main Library beginning on February 13th.

All visitors will have a chance to contribute to a new edition of the OPL Broken Hearts Zine.

Join us for a Broken Heart Party and Shrine Launch on February 13 at 5:30 pm.

If you'd like to donate an object, please bring it to any Oakland Public Library location and include the following information:

• Your name
• The title of the object
• The story of the object
• If you'd like the object back or would like us to burn it
• Your contact information

All who contribute will receive a free copy of OPL's Broken Hearts Zine.
