Events › Stories around the Mahjong Table: Learn & Play

Join us in celebration and discovery through hands-on learning around the mahjong table. There will be an engaging author talk of the newly released book, MAHJONG by Nicole Wong, the founder of The Mahjong Project. We will raffle off a copy of the book at the end. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of mahjong through game play. All levels are welcome to join. To participate in game play, please fill out the online registration form.

You will also have a chance to purchase own your copy of Mahjong: House Rules From Across Asian Diaspora during the program.

The Mahjong Project was founded as a way to preserve and document how mahjong is played from game etiquette to house rules. Visit The Mahjong Project to learn more about gameplay and the author's upcoming book.
