Join OPL for an end-of-summer celebration at the Main Library. There’s something for all ages!

The East Bay Regional Parks will bring their mobile aquarium, Oakland firefighters will provide BBQ (while supplies last, starting at 11:00am), and Eat. Learn. Play. will be onsite with snacks and books for children.

• 10:30am Storytime presented by OPL Children's Librarians
• 11:30am Aerial Performance by Gina the Fae
• 11:30am Scrappy the Rally Possum makes an appearance!
• 1:00pm Daisy the Clown
• 2:00pm Zumba with Tabitha

Plus, visitors will be able to play classic video game courtesy of the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment, learn from community partners about bike sharing, pet adoption, glucose testing, and supportive services for families, make a craft with OPL staff, and snap a cute picture at the library’s photobooth!

This event would not be possible without the support of the Friends of the Oakland Public Library, who will also be on hand to talk with visitors about celebrating their 75^th Anniversary in 2025!
