The  African American Quilt Guild of Oakland (AAQGO), founded in 2000, celebrates its 25th Anniversary at the Elmhurst Branch with a special exhibition. 

This exhibition marks AAQGO’s proud history as an Oakland institution dedicated to preserving African American quilting traditions. This exhibit tells stories through the art of quilting. 

Join us to celebrate a quarter of a century of storytelling and preserving history.. 

VIEWER CHALLENGE: All quilts include a common African “UNITY CLOTH” fabric. Can you find them?
