Artist Lisa Soloman will discuss her new book, Art Craft Color: Brighten Your Life with Projects in Every Color of the Rainbow. She will be conversation with Courtney Cerruti

Lisa Solomon is an Oakland-based artist and teacher. Profoundly interested in the idea of hybridization (sparked from her Hapa heritage), Solomon's mixed-media works and large installations revolve thematically around domesticity, craft, and personal histories. She is the author of many books, including, A Field Guide To Color, The Color Meditation Deck, Crayola: A Visual Biography, 20 Ways to Draw a Chair and Draw 500 Everyday Things. She is also an instructor on CreativeBug.

Courtney Cerruti is an artist, author, collaborator and shop owner. Her books, Playing with Image Transfers, Washi Tape 101, Playing With Surface Design and Make Art Where You Are have been translated into multiple languages. Courtney teaches workshops all over the country and online at Creativebug.com where she is the Editor-In-Chief.
