Guild members produced unique quilts inspired in the tradition of Gee's Bend. Gee's Bend style is known for bold, improvisational and geometric designs using simple shapes in abstract and non-linear ways.
The quilts resemble modern art and reflect the quilters unique histories and resourcefulness with scraps of fabric.
