The Elmhurst Library once again offers notary public services free of charge. 

Please bring a valid photo ID for all signers, and remember that documents to be notarized must be signed in front of the Notary. 

DO NOT SIGN YOUR DOCUMENTS BEFORE YOU COME!

All people signing the document(s) must be present. Due to high demand, there is a limit of one document per person and a maximum of three signature pages per document. We cannot notarize any of the following: real estate transactions; employment verification (IRS Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification); passports; or photocopies of official documents. Library staff cannot witness documents; you must bring your own witnesses.

Community members will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
