Chiefly correspondence, monthly reports and legal documents of the Snow Museum of Natural History in Oakland, California. The bulk of the correspondence is from Nydine Snow as museum director. Prominent correspondents include Public Museum director John Rowley, City Librarian Charles S. Greene, acting mayor Frank Colbourn, and many members of the Library Board. Early correspondence includes discussions about Leslie Simson's animal specimen collection. Several City Council resolutions relating to the Snow Museum are interfiled with the correspondence and reports. Also includes some publicity materials.
